Nursery
Welcome to St Joseph's Nursery. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and our nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children aged 2 years to 4 years 11 months can learn, play, and grow at their own pace. Our aim is to foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through high-quality early years education.
We offer flexible sessions to meet the needs of families, including morning sessions from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, afternoon sessions from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, all-day sessions from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and extended sessions from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at £4.40 per session, which are not covered by funded hours. We accept both 15-hour and 30-hour funding codes, ensuring accessibility and affordability for all families.
Our nursery provides all consumables needed for the children’s daily care and activities, including wipes, nappy sacks, craft materials, and other essential items. These are fully covered within our standard fees, and we do not charge any extra for these consumables. We kindly ask parents to supply their child’s nappies and a packed lunch each day. We are committed to keeping our pricing transparent and ensuring that every child has everything they need throughout the day.
We are pleased to offer discounted rates for siblings attending the nursery at the same time, helping to support families with more than one child in our setting. We also provide staff discounts as part of our commitment to supporting our team and their families. These discounts are applied automatically to eligible bookings to ensure fees remain fair and accessible.
All our fees are subject to review twice per year. Decisions in April are applied on 1st September and Decisions in October are applied on 1st April each year.
Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and is designed to support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, communication and language skills, physical growth, literacy and mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design. Through play-based learning, we encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving, helping children develop the skills they need for school and beyond.
The safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. Our staff are fully trained in safeguarding and first aid, and we maintain a warm, caring environment where children feel secure and happy. We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure that every child feels valued and supported as they take their first steps in education.
We invite you to visit our nursery, meet our dedicated team, and see how we can support your child’s early learning journey.
