Welcome to St Joseph's Nursery

At St Joseph's Nursery, we believe that every child deserves the very best start in life. We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children aged 2 years to 4 years 11 months can learn, play, and grow at their own pace. Our aim is to foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through high-quality early years education.

Session Times

We offer flexible sessions to meet the needs of families:

• Breakfast Club: 8:00am to 9:00am (not covered by funded hours)
• Morning Session: 9:00am to 12:00pm
• Afternoon Session: 12:00pm to 3:00pm
• All-Day Session: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Tea Club: 3:00pm to 4:00pm (not covered by funded hours)

We accept both 15-hour and 30-hour funded childcare codes, helping to make high-quality early years education accessible and affordable for all families.

Transparent Fees and Consumables

We are committed to keeping our fees clear and transparent. To help cover the cost of everyday consumables and refreshments provided at nursery, the following charges apply:

• Wipes and nappy consumables: £1.50 per day
• Sun cream: £1.00 per day (during the summer months)
• Morning snack: £1.00 per day
• Afternoon snack: £1.00 per day

Parents are kindly asked to provide:

• A healthy packed lunch for children attending all-day sessions (alternatively, a hot meal can be ordered through our meal provider, Relish, at a cost of £3.10 per day)

These charges help us to provide high-quality resources, consumables, and healthy snack options while ensuring children have access to everything they need throughout their nursery day. We remain committed to keeping our fees fair, transparent, and accessible for families.

Family and Staff Discounts

We are pleased to offer:

• Sibling discounts for families with more than one child attending the nursery at the same time
• Staff discounts as part of our commitment to supporting our team and their families

Eligible discounts are applied automatically to ensure fees remain fair and accessible.

Fee Reviews

All nursery fees are reviewed twice annually.

• Reviews completed in April take effect from 1st September
• Reviews completed in October take effect from 1st April

Any changes will be communicated to families in advance.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and supports children's development across all areas of learning:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development

• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

Through play-based learning experiences, children are encouraged to explore, create, investigate, and solve problems, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for school and beyond.

Caring for Every Child

The safety, well-being, and happiness of every child are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team is fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid, ensuring children are cared for in a warm, secure, and supportive environment.

We work closely with parents and carers, building strong partnerships to ensure every child feels valued, respected, and supported throughout their early learning journey.
